Bill Nye the Science Guy will be in Vancouver in less than a month for a one-night multi-media event.
The famed science educator will be on stage at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre June 20 for "The End is Nye!" based on his recent TV show by the same name.
Hosted by Science World, the show will focus on global challenges and disasters.
"He will guide us through six of the most likely global challenges, both natural and unnatural, and then explain how we can survive, mitigate and even prevent them, with science!" states Science World in a release.
Tickets start at $99.70 (including $20.20 in fees).
The former Boeing engineer got his start in entertainment not far from Vancouver as a regular on Almost Live!, a skit comedy show. In the mid-90s he hosted the popular kids show Bill Nye the Science Guy.
