The body of a Vancouver man who was missing for nearly three weeks has been found in False Creek.
Irshaad Ikbal, 36, was last seen around 2 a.m. on April 29 near the Plaza of Nations, according to the VPD.
On May 6 his family announced a $20,000 reward to whoever finds him.
Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday (May 18) Ikbal's remains were discovered in the water near the Plaza of Nations. A passerby called 911 and Vancouver police brought him to shore.
The BC Coroners Service is currently investigating and the cause of Ikbal's death has not been determined.
The Vancouver Police Department is also continuing its investigation into Ikbal's disappearance.
