Vancouver designer LeLe Chan has been running an Instagram account for the past 3 years that you might want to follow.
@cherryblossommadness documents people who flock to the cherry blossom trees in front of her home every year. Shot out of her living room window are all varieties of cherry blossom hounds capturing their own images to be shared on social media, and her behind-the-scenes look offers quite a few laughs.
What begun as a hashtag on her personal Instagram account in 2012 (#cherryblossommadness2012) turned into an account all its own - launched in 2016 - that is well worth a follow.
In an email to V.I.A. she told us "it’s a mystery" as to why people flock to her street, but we're guessing the fact that it's on a list of “must visit” spots on the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival website might have something to do with it.
