As many have noticed, finding an affordable place to rent in Vancouver can be difficult.
Currently, the average monthly rent for a newly-listed one bedroom apartment in the city's downtown is $2,815.
For those looking to make living in Vancouver more affordable, finding places they can share with roommates is essential, but that means finding places that have multiple bedrooms.
Or rooms where a bed can be put.
That appears to be the case with this spot at 1068 Hornby St. Photos from the Facebook Marketplace ad show a small bed set up next to a small desk. The two pieces of furniture appear to essentially fill the room, if the door is to be opened.
There doesn't appear to be any closet space in the room, or any other space to store clothing.
At the same time, two of the walls are floor-to-ceiling windows. The door also had a window in it, but it appears to have been covered.
The ad, perhaps euphemistically, refers to it as a "cosy den space."
The tiny room is on the market for $1,200 (though the first month will be $500).
"Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to live in the heart of downtown Vancouver!" reads the ad.
