Downtown Vancouver will be without a Winners in October but for less than a week.
The Canadian chain is shutting down its location at 798 Granville St. after more than 20 years. However, they aren't going far.
"Our Winners store at 798 Granville St. is expected to close by Oct. 16th and relocate to 660 Granville St.," says Winners brand manager Natalie Zaremba in an email to V.I.A.
The old store will lock up around 6 p.m. on Oct 16.
The new store is expected to open Oct. 21 at 9 a.m., Zaremba adds.
The new location is about a block north of the current spot with entrances at ground level of The Hudson building (610 Granville St.), next to the Bay building. The bulk of the store will be above street level.
