Fatal collision claims life of 27-year-old motorcyclist in Vancouver

The VPD is asking witnesses to come forward.

The Vancouver Police Department is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that happened on Arbutus Street near West 21st Avenue on July 4, 2024.

The Vancouver police are asking for witnesses and videos following a fatal collision that killed a 27-year-old man yesterday. 

The crash happened on Arbutus Street near West 21st Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. on July 4. The motorcyclist was driving south and collided with a grey Honda CR-V.

“Despite life-saving efforts by bystanders and paramedics, the driver of the motorcycle died at the scene,” indicated the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) in a press release. 

The driver of the Honda CR-V, who was transported to hospital for minor injuries, remained at the scene.
