Two alarm fire breaks out at Downtown Vancouver hotel

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

VFRS were called to a fire in two suites of the Barclay Hotel on Robson Street in Downtown Vancouver.

Firefighters were called to a two alarm blaze in Downtown Vancouver yesterday evening, Oct. 20. 

Vancouver Fire Rescue Services (VFRS) Asst. Chief Jarret Gray tells V.I.A. that the fire started in two suites inside the Barclay Hotel on 1348 Robson Street.

The flames were contained to the two suites and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. 

No injuries were reported.
