Children's music performer Fred Penner has some thoughts about those who "reject modern medicine," which he shared to social media on Dec. 13, 2021.
In a recent post to his official Instagram account @fpenner5, the beloved Canadian entertainer shared a meme that shows the cover of a book with the title "Freedom: How You Can Reject Modern Medicine and Die Like a Medieval Peasant."
The caption he wrote to accompany the image begins with the fact that he considers it "a truth."
The origins of the meme are not known, but it appeared on the image-sharing platform imgur as early as August 2021.
Penner credits a relative of his for bringing it to his attention, including a nod in his caption: "Thanks to my cousin David for sending this to me."
Once dubbed “Mr. Multi-Media” by Billboard Magazine, the 75 year-old has been sharing pro-vaccination messages to social media over the past few months, encouraging others to get the jab.
From posting multiple photos of himself after he got vaccinated, to statements such as "Lest we forget! Vaccination has nothing to do with human rights and everything to do with human survival and health," his opinion about anti-vaxxers has finally been laid bare in a brutally honest way with his latest post to Instagram.
