Playland reopened on Friday to a sea of smiling faces - but they weren't the kind you typically see at the amusement park.
Admission to Playland includes unlimited rides within the designated date/time slot, and a souvenir Playland face mask. It is mandatory to wear a face covering while in queues and on rides.
But the Playland masks really stand out.
Not only are the amusement park's face coverings bright yellow, but they also have a massive grin on them. So, while you won't be able so see people smiling and laughing at the park, there will still be radiant smiles galore.
The park is now open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and all tickets must be pre-purchased for specific dates and time slots. Tickets are available for mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Guests may enjoy between 10-12 of the park’s most popular family-friendly rides and attractions. Some of the rides include: the Tea Cups, Balloon Explorers, Honeybee Express, Choppers, Kettle Creek Mine Coaster, Pacific Adventure Golf. Additional rides will be added later this summer.

Currently, the Province prohibits mass outdoor gatherings of over 50 people at events. However, Playland isn't considered an event, but rather a 'facility.'
As part of its COVID-19 protocols, all tickets must be purchased in advance online.
