While Vancouverites were privy to weeks of straight sunshine this fall, the Halloween forecast is calling for rain.
What's more, the rainfall caused localized flooding in parts of the city, such as the intersection at Columbia Street near West 2nd Avenue.
Now, the forecast is calling for seven straight days of rainfall, which includes Halloween night.
Of course, the big night isn't guaranteed to be rainy. Environment Canada predicts a 40 per cent chance of showers during the day, and a 30 per cent chance of showers in the evening. Contrastingly, Tuesday, October 30, calls for rain rather than cloudy with a chance of showers.
