Here are some of the best places in Vancouver to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday

There are some great deals to be had this Sunday!

Restaurants across Vancouver are offering sweet deals to watch the 56th Super Bowl matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just watch the ads, there are plenty of places around Vancouver to enjoy the 56th Super Bowl matchup this Sunday.

Most restaurants are first come first serve so it would be a good idea to get there some time before the 1 p.m. start time or make reservations online.
 
The Chickadee Room at 182 Keefer St. will be opening an hour early to get fans fired up for the big game. There will be rotating food specials from Juke Fried Chicken’s menu offered every quarter, drink specials from the team behind the bar, and prizes to be won by playing Football Squares.
 
Sports Bar Live at Rogers Arena at 99 West Georgia Street features 102 high definition TVs, a 90’ length bar for all your viewing and drinking needs. The event will feature Canucks alumni Kirk McLean and offer several prizes including Canucks tickets.


Mahony’s Tavern at both False Creek and Convention Center locations will have plenty of prizes throughout the day including beer fridges and a $500 Best Buy gift card. Both locations will be offering a featured menu for the occasion that include both food and drink specials. Reservations are recommended and can be made online.

Red Card Sports Bar + Eatery at 560 Smithe St. will be offering great deals on food and drink you can enjoy while watching the game on the eatery’s 16 HD plasma TVs and 2 106" projector screens. Guests can enter to win a speaker cooler filled with beer and swag. There will be a $20 cover charge per guest this year. Reservations can be made by calling 604-689-4460 or booking online.


The Met Bar & Grill at 411 Columbia St. in New Westminster is offering classic game day meals like Pulled Pork Nachos ($20), and Chicken Wings & Potato Skins ($10). Those can be enjoyed while watching the game on the restaurant’s 8 large HD TV screens. Seating is limited and reservations can be made by calling 604-520-1967.

Hero’s Welcome on 3917 Main Street is making its first-ever Super Bowl Sunday one to remember with a special game day line-up, featuring an exclusive food and drink menu. Top Rope Birria will be slinging tacos, wings, and fries from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Parq Vancouver at 39 Smithe St is offering its own Super Bowl experience with jersey and TV giveaways as well as food and drink deals at the casino’s various restaurants. For more information you can check out their website.
