Do you feel like Saturday's sunshine was a bit of a tease?
While the city was blanketed in a thick layer of fog Sunday and heading into Monday morning, the Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes more clear skies and sunshine this week.
Starting on Monday (Jan. 24), Environment Canada calls for fog in the morning that is expected to dissipate by the afternoon and become a mix of sun and cloud. The evening is expected to be cloudy with an overnight low of freezing.
Heading into Tuesday, however, the forecast includes a mix of sun and cloud during the day with a high of 5°C. The overnight low will dip down to just above freezing and the sunny streak is expected to continue through Thursday.
Wet weather is expected Friday, which is expected to bring the overnight low slightly higher (3°C). Saturday's forecast includes rain throughout the day with a high of 8°C during the day and an overnight low of 4°C. Sunday is also expected to be slightly milder and wet.
