Protesters filled the streets in Vancouver today (Oct. 1) on the global day of protest in solidarity with Iran.
This is the city's fourth protest since news of the death of a woman, Mahsa Amini, held by Iran's morality police sparked protests worldwide.
Previous protests organized by Vancouver's Persian community had taken place on Sept. 19 and Sept. 25 at the Vancouver Art Gallery and on Sept. 21 in front of the U.S. Embassy downtown where protesters were seen chopping off their hair.
The fourth protest began at 2 p.m. at the Vancouver Art Gallery where protesters marched down and lined up along Georgia Street until Stanley Park.
