It is finally snowing in the City of Vancouver!
Vancouverites are sharing wintry snaps of flurries falling in the city, which is the first time that many locals have seen the white stuff sticking outside of their homes.
While it has snowed in the Metro Vancouver region a couple of other times this winter, many areas in the City of Vancouver at lower elevations haven't seen any accumulations of the frosty stuff. However, this week's forecast calls for unseasonably frigid lows as well as a few more opportunities for snowfall.
The cold air will persist for the remainder of the week, as well as the sunshine.
Arctic Outflow and Extreme Cold warnings are in effect for several regions in the province and may be expanded as the Arctic air progresses.
Have a look at some of the videos and images locals are sharing of flurries in Vancouver.
