The stunning Sunday weather we enjoyed in Metro Vancouver is set to be eclipsed by the return of rain starting Monday, Nov. 22.
The wet stuff dominates the forecast for the region this week, according to Environment Canada, which calls for a fairly soggy Monday and plenty of rain or the chance of showers much of the following days.
On Monday, Metro Vancouver residents are set to receive about 10 to 15 mm of rain starting in the morning, with wind from the east at about 20 km/h, except gusting to 40 near the water this afternoon. The daytime high Monday should reach 7C, while overnight the temp will lower only slightly to 6C with rain.
Tuesday is poised to be the sole sunny day of the week; during the day Metro Vancouver will enjoy a mix of sun and cloud with winds of 30 to 50 km/h from the west and a high of 9C.
The rest of the week features more rainy days and daytime temperatures around 8C or 9C - which is the average for this time of year in Vancouver, however, it will cool down and drop to 3C or 5C some nights this week, which happens to be slightly warmer than the average overnight temp for the region.
