A man in his 30s has life-threatening injuries after being shot in the Downtown Eastside Saturday evening.
Officers were called to a building near the intersection of East Hastings Street and Princess Avenue around 7:15 p.m., June 10, according to a Vancouver Police Department (VPD) press release.
"The victim was located outside the building and given medical attention at the scene, before being taken to hospital by ambulance," Sgt. Steve Addison states in a press release.
One person was arrested at the scene, but police are investigating if there are any other suspects in the case. Evidence and witness statements are still being collected as the investigation continues this weekend.
