Burnaby RCMP report that one of their traffic enforcement officers caught a driver flying down a local street at twice the posted speed limit.
The driver was going 105 km/h – that’s highway speed – in a 50 km/h zone – a quiet residential street.
One of our Traffic Enforcement Officers just caught this driver not only going 105 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone but also driving distracted. The driver as a result recieved multiple VT's and their vehicle was impounded for 7 days #RoadSafety pic.twitter.com/RmRCMzMyvC

Not only that, but police report the driver was also caught driving distracted, netting them multiple tickets and having their vehicle impounded for seven days.
