A Metro Vancouver man's Christmas was boosted by a big win on a scratch-and-win ticket this year.
The Jack Frost ticket was given to Matt Zomar, an Aldergrove resident, as a gift this holiday season, according to the BC Lottery Corporation.
When Zomar scratched it, he wasn't sure he'd won at first.
"I was shaking and had my mom look the ticket over to make sure it was correct!” Zomar said.
The win gave him a bit of a shock.
“I was on an adrenaline rush and couldn’t fall asleep until 4 a.m.,” he added.
He plans on using his winnings to take a trip to Mexico and put some of the money towards a new truck.
