Metro Vancouver resident Hien Vo is having to share his winnings with another Lotto Max draw winner in Ontario but he's still ecstatic.
Vo was at home in Surrey when he checked the BCLC app to discover he had won half a million dollars in the Oct. 21 draw.
“I was most excited to tell my girlfriend,” he recalls.
Vo purchased the winning ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore on 104 Avenue in Surrey and is planning to use the money to pay off his mortgage. After a celebration, of course.
