Look! It's a bird! It's a plane!
It's a bunch of comic books and sports cards believed to have been stolen in the before times.
The Surrey RCMP has someone's collection, but they have no idea whose.
In March 2019 Mounties found the collection of collectibles when they executed a search warrant related to stolen property. The collections were seized as part of the investigation as police believe they were stolen, according to a police press release.
However, no one filed a report about the collection being stolen.
It includes Marvel and DC comic books along with hockey and baseball cards (with the likes of Jaromir Jagr, Patrick Roy and Ken Griffey Jr.).
For over two years police have held on to the items, but they haven't had any luck locating the owner. Now they're turning to the public to see if someone will step forward.
"If you or someone you know had comic books or sports cards stolen in the Lower Mainland prior to March 21, 2019 please contact the Surrey RCMP," they write.
