A Coquitlam woman who recently won $100,000 on a scratch and win ticket said she’s taking off to Mexico — that is, as soon as it’s safe to do so.
Twila Dugger was at her kitchen table when in a "mind-boggling" moment she realized she had won the Battleship Scratch & Win ticket.
“I kept scratching and saw more and more ships and realized I had won so I got my phone out right away and scanned the ticket,” said Dugger in a press release from the BC Lottery Corporation.

The Coquitlam resident bought the winning ticket from the D & J Husky on Lougheed Highway.
