A new noodle shop is opening on Vancouver's Broadway later this summer.

Just a few months after a ramen shop closed at the corner of Broadway and Cambie, a new one is set to open in its place.

Menya Juemon will be opening up later this summer, according to signs on the windows at 545 W Broadway. That address was the home of Benkei Ramen until March.

The new shop hasn't shared many details about what's to come but promises "our concept, your Ramenventure" on Instagram.

That noodle-y adventure will include a broth made with chicken, pork, fish, and mushroom, according to the new shop's website. They also plan on focusing on traditional soy sauces.

"To further enhance the profile of our ramen, we’ve incorporated a variety of traditional Japanese soy sauce into each of our ramen on the menu," operators describe on the new restaurant's website. "All with their own distinct flavour and culinary uses, the different soy sauces bring out the uniqueness of our four elements umami broth, resulting in an experience that is truly unforgettable."
