For many living on a vineyard with views of mountains and lakes is a dream.
But given the cost of a house in Vancouver these days, an Okanagan vineyard seems like a reasonable option.
Located outside of Summerland, this 7.3 acre property has several acres of Pinot Noir grapes growing, along with a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house.
It also has a four bay garage and workshop.
And, on top of that, the home has views of Okanagan Lake, looking out over the southern part of the massive lake towards Naramata.
The entire property is currently on the market for $2.5 million.
Right now an average standalone house in Vancouver is clocking in well above $2 million; in Metro Vancouver, the average cost for a single-family home is $2.1 million, and inside the city proper it's more.
And none of Vancouver's homes have a vineyard. And it's unlikely they'll have a view of a lake.
