Over 30 road closures are happening in Vancouver this weekend, April 15-16, 2023, due to the Vaisakhi Parade and Sun Run events.

Vancouver will see road closures all weekend long due to two big events.

On Saturday, April 15, the Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade returns following a three-year hiatus. Its counterpart in Surrey, one of the world's largest Vaisakhi Parades, will occur a week later.

Then on Sunday, thousands of runners will take to downtown streets in the annual Vancouver Sun Run race.

Road closures will be put in place on both Saturday and Sunday.
