Delta Police are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate two sisters – 14-year-old Nikita Joseph and 11-year-old Shauntea Joseph.
According to police, both girls are missing out of a residence in North Delta, and their disappearance is considered high-risk.
The girls had been reported missing earlier in April, briefly reappeared on April 7, and have not been seen since that date.
Both of the girls have been the subject of previous missing person reports. In January of this year, Nikita Joseph was missing, and both she and her sister had also gone missing twice within a few days in October 2019.
Nikita is Aboriginal, 5’4” with a slim build and dark brown eyes and shoulder length black straight hair.
Shauntea is Aboriginal, 4’10” tall, and is slim with black hair.
It is unknown what clothing either girl was wearing when they went missing.
“Police have exhausted all investigative avenues, and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating these two missing girls,” said Cris Leykauf, spokesperson for Delta Police.
Anyone with information on the missing girls is asked to contact police at 604-946-4411.
