Police seek missing man who left Vancouver hospital

Vancouver police are asking for the public to help find a missing 22-year-old man.

Liam White, who is autistic, was visiting Vancouver General Hospital with his mother on Saturday evening, Feb. 22, around 6 p.m. He left before getting his required medication, according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), and is now missing.

"Liam is autistic and has childlike mannerisms," reads a press release from the VPD. "He is unlikely to be able to find his way home without assistance."

White is described as 5'9" and around 300 lbs.

"He has short, light brown hair, sideburns, and a moustache," according to police. "He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, a green t-shirt and dark blue sweatpants."

Anyone who sees White is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with him until first responders arrive.
