Travellers planning to enter or leave the Vancouver International Airport area are encouraged to plan extra time this afternoon.
A #JamtheAirport event is expected to take place at airports across the country, including YVR, on Sunday, Nov. 7 around 3 p.m.
A convoy of vehicles driving slowly in a circle around the area of the airport is expected, according to Twitter posts.
The event, which is allegedly organized by well-known Canadian antimasker Chris Sky (also known as Chris Saccoccia), is part of a national effort by those against the vaccine passport.
Those who need to head in or out of the airport are advised to take the Canada Line skytrain as an alternative.
