A protest at a Vancouver intersection is causing drivers to seek alternate routes.
The protest is lead by the climate action group Extinction Rebellion who wrote in a recent Instagram post they won't leave the Broadway and Cambie street intersection until they get a meeting with B.C. Premier John Horgan. The goal of the meeting would be to discuss ending old-growth logging in the province the post reads.

"The BC government has made it clear that it intends on destroying some of the last old growth forests in BC and therefore, continuing the destruction of this country and the livelihoods of future generations," the protest's Facebook event page reads.
The Facebook page also states the protesters will occupy the intersection for an "indefinite period of time."
