After years of pop-up puppy yoga events, Vancouver has a studio space where you can take classes with adorable pups.
Pups Yoga is a Vancouver yoga class that aims to aid people in their mental health and socializing their puppies, but it also has a bigger mission in mind.
The founders, in collaboration with operators of its home space of Stretch yoga studio, launched Pups Yoga to "raise funds and awareness for the stray dogs of Zimbabwe while introducing the practice of yoga and all of its benefits to new crowds," describes the Pups Yoga website.
Following a soft launch on Oct. 16, Pups Yoga is now offering weekend classes starting on Oct. 22 with each class priced at $45. The sessions are described as "an hour of pure relaxation and cuddles."
The Pups Yoga program operates out of Stretch Yoga, which is located in Chinatown at 180 E Pender St. Attendees are asked to bring their own mats. The pups aren't potty-trained yet.
