In a press release, Mission RCMP say Jayden Dewitte has been taken into police custody as of 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 16.

Police are seeking a B.C. man who stole a truck, did burnouts, and fled police by driving the truck through a fence.
Mission RCMP was called to a pub in Mission's Hatzic neighbourhood around 8 p.m. Saturday, April 15, after a man was allegedly doing burnouts in the parking lot in a white pickup truck.
He left before police arrived, but calls came in a short time later for another incident.
This time he was reportedly driving dangerously near Cedar Street and Egglestone Avenue in the northern part of Mission. Police located the man and truck a short time later in a parking lot at Griner Park on Cherry Avenue.
This time, according to police, the truck escaped by driving through a park and smashing through a fence to get to a road on the other side.
"The truck – a white Ford F-350 – was found abandoned a few blocks away near Centennial Park, and was confirmed to have been stolen," states the Mission RCMP.
Police dogs were brought in and the man was tracked further south to 11th Avenue and Dunsmuir Street, but they could not find the man.
His whereabouts are unknown, but police have identified a suspect.
Police are asking the public to "keep an eye out for" Jayden Dewitte. He's a 24-year-old Caucasian male standing about 5'9" with a medium build. He has short brown hair. He does not have a criminal record.
"Dewitte was seen in different clothing outfits throughout the day, including a cream-coloured puffy jacket, red shorts, white shoes, a camouflage sweatshirt, and a dark ball-cap, however he may have since changed his appearance again," according to police.
They note he's part of police investigations in other parts of the Lower Mainland as well, and may show up in another part of the region.
Police advise anyone who sees Dewitte to call 911 and not to approach him.
"Anyone with additional information that could help in locating Dewitte can call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, or your local police," states the Mission police.
