Ryan Reynolds announced the third Deadpool movie in a hilarious, punny video.
Reynolds starts the video, which was shared this afternoon (Sept. 27), remarking that the team has "been working very hard on the next Deadpool film for, uh, a good long while now."
The Vancouver actor then dives into a profound tale of self-exploration, which was necessary to create the new movie. "I've had to really search my soul on this one," he says between scenes of strolling through the woods, writing on a typewriter while in costume, and being in deep thought.
"It's been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside," Reynolds continues while pouring a glass of Aviation Gin. "And I... I have nothing."
"But we did have one idea," he says as Hugh Jackman coincidentally strolls past behind Reynolds. "Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?"
The video ends with a punny "coming Hughn," before revealing a release date for the movie next year.
Those who have watched the previous Deadpool movies may have noticed a few Vancouver easter eggs, including the opening scene. But, will the third movie film in Vancouver? Maybe.
