"The protagonist seems reckless but likeable."
Popular Vancouver actor Ryan Reynolds live-tweeted his thoughts and feelings while he watched the Green Lantern on St. Patrick's Day this week.
And as the funny-man sipped emerald-hued cocktails during the show, he didn't hold much back about his starring role in the 2011 action/adventure superhero film.
The hometown Hollywood heavyweight took to Twitter Wednesday (March 17) morning to share an image of the lucky concoction he was preparing, which featured an ounce and a half of his famous Aviation Gin in each cup. However, as video evidence from the lucky day shows, there was likely far more than an ounce and a half in some of those free pours.
Other ingredients in the emerald cocktail include one ounce of Apple Pucker, a half-ounce of lemon juice, and then a little bit of ginger ale to top off the merry drink.
First time for everything--including watching your own movie
Reynolds said he'd never watched the Green Lantern before, despite starring in the feature flick back in 2011.
He also joked that he only reads parts of the script, so the movie was genuinely exciting for him to watch.
