Howe Sound boater and conservationist John Buchanan recently captured some amazing footage of sea lions and other underwater marine life.
In the video below his camera zooms in on a herd of sea lions as they make their way South near Furry Creek, just off the Sea to Sky Highway.
He then puts a camera underwater and gathers a fascinating look at what's going on at the bottom of the ocean, well below the stampeding sea mammals. A "herring explosion" occurs, sending shrimp and herring storming.
Watch it to the end; it's incredible how much is happening down there!
