An absolutely tiny room is being advertised as a rental opportunity in Vancouver.
The room barely fits the bed that's shown inside, which appears to be a small twin mattress on a futon-type frame (which extends around three of the four sides). While the ad calls it a den, some might call it a storage space.
The only things it appears to be able to fit aside from the bed are a wall outlet and art on the wall. There are no windows or shelves built into the room.
"It's a den space as shown in the pictures, which is very cozy for winters," writes the advertiser. "[A] private closet [is] provided for your luggage and stuff."
The room is part of an apartment where a couple lives; the renter of the tiny space will have access to all the apartment's amenities.
The space is being advertised as available for the month of December, for $900 (which is relatively cheap for downtown Vancouver). It's located above Robson Square in the city's core, which the advertiser highlights.
Vacancy rates in Vancouver continue to hover just above 1 per cent on a regular basis, increasing the pressure on the area's rental market.
