Following an overnight wind storm that toppled trees and caused power outages for many Vancouverites, the city should prepare for snowfall too.
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for Metro Vancouver on Saturday (Nov. 5) afternoon, anticipating wet snow in the evening and on Sunday (Nov. 6).
Snow levels will initially be around 300 metres due to some precipitation falling as wet snow but then drop overnight into Sunday morning, the warning reads.
Environment Canada also adds that areas near sea level may start seeing wet snow, but areas above 100 metres in elevation may see up to 10 cm of snow.
