Someone in B.C. won $18 million on the Lotto Max!

Someone just had a very lucky weekend, but all that's known is they're probably in B.C.

In the Saturday, Feb. 24 Lotto Max draw, one set of seven numbers matched, winning the lottery's jackpot of $18 million.

The winning ticket was bought via the B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC)'s website.

"The ticket was purchased on BCLC’s PlayNow.com, which is the province’s only legal, regulated gambling website, where B.C. players can make lottery purchases," states the BCLC.

However, it is unclear where exactly that winner is.

To play on PlayNow.com one must be a B.C. resident, in B.C., and old enough to legally gamble.

For those scrambling to check their tickets, the winning numbers are: 8, 16, 24, 28, 40, 41 and 47.
