People looking to get to North Vancouver at night this week may find themselves detoured through Stanley Park.
The Ministry of Transportation will be closing the section of Highway 99 that runs from Lost Lagoon Road to Stanley Park Drive overnight Tuesday, Oct. 11, and Wednesday, Oct. 12. Each night it'll be closed from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning for paving.
While the road through the park leading up to Lions Gate Bridge will be closed, the bridge will remain open and detours in both directions will run through Stanley Park.
The work is expected to wrap up by 5:30 a.m. Oct. 13.
#BCHwy99 - Stanley Park Causeway will be closed, in both directions, for paving 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM tonight Tuesday October 11th & tomorrow night, Wednesday October 12th.
