Numerous road closures are scheduled for Vancouver's Stanley Park in September 2023, due to several large-scale events.

September will bring on onslaught of road closures to Vancouver's biggest park.

Starting over the Labour Day long weekend -- a hectic time for Vancouverites travelling across the border or to Vancouver Island -- a series of large-scale events will be impacting traffic throughout the park.

Traffic delays are expected at the park entry from Georgia Street and park exit from North Lagoon Drive as commuters driving over the Lions Gate Bridge merge with those travelling through Stanley Park.

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation asks park visitors to use alternative modes of transportation, such as taking public transit, biking, and walking, to minimize vehicle traffic on the days of the events.
