Cacti, solar-powered homes, and worshippers of the ancient Egyptian god Ra should all be excited about the week ahead.
This is because Vanoucver is expected to be sunny and dry.
Environment Canada's forecast for the end of May and the beginning of June is full of sunshine with a couple of clouds making cameo appearances in the sky. But while there will be plenty of sun, temperatures aren't expected to skyrocket.
The forecast for the week ahead is nearly identical for each day. Monday expect a little but of cloud, but mostly unimpeded sunshine with a high of 20 C on the shore, and 23 C inland.
On Tuesday, the clouds will likely not be there, with a high of 19 C and clear skies. Vancouverites can expect Wednesday and Thursday to be the same.
Friday clouds will begin to return, but won't be disrupting much, as the high is expected to be a little over 21 C. The weekend will begin with Saturday peaking at 22 C, even though those clouds will still be around a bit.
Overnight lows are pretty constant throughout the week at 11 C.
