With one-bedroom apartments hitting the rental listings for an average of $2,815 in downtown Vancouver right now (that's unfurnished), those looking for an affordable option may have to get creative.
One of those options up for grabs in Vancouver is this tiny room.
Renting for $1,500 per month, the room appears to be a den or a solarium on the corner of a downtown tower, with views in two directions.
While it may have big views, the space inside isn't quite so large. A queen bed fills the space with enough room for a nightstand. A photo of the room shows there isn't room for much else, aside from some art on the wall.
The apartment is "available for professionals" who "knows how they should live in a peace and respect together, and keep the place clean [sic]," reads the Facebook Marketplace ad.
A different, larger room is also available in the same unit is available for $2,000; it's unclear how many people live there currently but it appears the landlord is also a resident.
