TransLink is cautioning Metro Vancouver commuters that delays will be part of the day's travels for customers, as snow continues to choke the region.
Hard hit are the Expo and Millennium SkyTrain lines, as fewer trains are able to run. Each train needs to be staffed in order to navigate possible track issues caused by the weather, says TransLink.

Platforms and trains will be crowded, and you'll be spending more than the usual amount of time waiting.
Unlike Monday, though, many early morning SkyTrain riders are finding longer trains and reasonable waits so far.
While an issue caused problems on the Richmond side of the Canada Line Monday night, that closure has been resolved, and so far today the line is fully operational.

There are numerous bus detours Tuesday due to road conditions, and the transit agency is making coach substitutions to better handle the drives. TransLink has route-specific changes and alerts posted centrally on their website's alerts page.
"We continue to salt and sand bus loops and SkyTrain stations, but please use caution in these areas and remember to dress warmly in anticipation of potential delays," notes TransLink.
