The Equity & Inclusion Office at UBC is inviting the public to choose from three designs that will become a new LGBTQ2+ installation on campus.
The winning design will be installed at the AMS Nest in July and aims to foster inclusivity by bringing pride and trans colours to campus and signal UBC's public spaces as positive spaces.
The design options were developed through an project advisory committee with key partners including the UBC Alma Mater Society, the UBC Pride Collective, Campus + Community Planning, members from the Musqueam First Nation and the First Nations House of Learning.
The formal launch of the installation will be at UBC's pride event in August with more details to be announced later this summer.
