Although the Vancouver Art Gallery recently axed its "by donation" entrance, the art hub is now introducing free once-a-month admission starting next month.
The art gallery will be replacing its by-donation Tuesday admission with a monthly subscription near the end of April.
On top of the many changes occurring at the art gallery this spring, the art hub is also introducing "Free First Friday Nights."
On the first Friday of every month, people can stop by the Vancouver Art Gallery for free between 4 and 8 p.m. The first free Friday night is on May 5.
In addition to free admission, the art gallery will also offer educational tours and other programming free of charge.
Kids and teens (18 and under) will continue to enjoy free admission to the Art Gallery at all times due to a five-year program that launched last summer.
