The first month of fall is coming to a close, and so is the wait for a massive community bike ride.
Vancouver Critical Mass is a monthly celebratory evening bike ride through Vancouver happening on the last Friday of each month, similar to the bike rave that happened last month.
"Costumes and decorated bicycles, trailers, signs, flags, noisemakers, gettoblasters, sound systems, drums, and wildly modified bicycles are all highly encouraged!" writes the Facebook page.
Riders meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery and all are welcome to join.
Though the upcoming bike ride on Sept. 30 will be a usual stroll, there are several themed rides throughout the year. October will be Halloween-themed and December will be a "Winter Solstice" ride. The months of May and June also had fun themes, including a pirate theme and "Big Bike Month" theme.
