Were you looking forward to working on your tan over the May long weekend?
If so, you might have been disappointed. While Saturday (May 22) was sunny and bright, the other two days left something to be desired in Vancouver.
There wasn't a substantial amount of rainfall on Sunday and Monday, but the city saw showers off and on. However, there was a significant amount of humidity.
According to @YVR_Weather, Vancouver had a mean humidity of 93 per cent Monday, which made it the city's "moistest [May 24] since records began in 1953," or nearly 70 years.

Environment Canada gives an early summer weather forecast for Vancouver
Are you ready for summer?
Environment Canada has provided an early summer weather forecast for Metro Vancouver that calls for warmer temperatures overall.
Meteorological summer commences on June 1, which is when the federal forecaster will release the official 2021 seasonal weather forecast for B.C. However, some models give an early indication that the region will see warmer weather this year.
Meteorologist Doug Lundquist told Vancouver Is Awesome that he feels most of B.C. will see above-average temperatures for June, July and August.
