The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) are hoping the public recognizes two men sought in connection to a sudden death in Vancouver's West End.

A 35-year-old man was found dead in his apartment on May 30, stated the VPD in press release.

"Although the cause of his death has not been confirmed, VPD’s Major Crime Section is collecting evidence to determine whether the death was the result of a crime," indicated authorities.

The man was found just after 11:30 a.m. His apartment is near the intersection of Davie and Bidwell streets.

Two men were seen with the man before he died, said Const. Tania Visintin.

“We believe these men may have important information about what happened," she said. "And we’d like to speak with them.”

On July 4, police released images of the two men.

People who may recognize the men can call the VPD at 604-717-2500.
