Three B.C. cities among 'Most Welcoming Places in Canada'
Quebec and British Columbia dominated the list of Canada's most welcoming places, with three cities from each province represented on the list.
Booking.com also included the top two places to stay in each of the "welcoming" cities.
The travel provider recommends staying at the upscale Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, which offers sweeping views of Coal Harbour from the five-star accommodation.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim also earned the top spot for hotels in Western Canada in Condé Nast Traveler's annual Readers' Choice Awards.
The O Canada House Bed & Breakfast was the other recommended accommodation in Vancouver. Located in the West End, the Victorian-inspired decor features modern luxury in the historic building.
Two other B.C. cities also made the list of "welcoming" places.
Tourists visiting Victoria are encouraged to stay at the Pendray Inn and Tea House or the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel.
In Ucluelet, the report's authors recommend the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort and the Waters Edge Shoreside Suites.
