Despite fall still settling in, skiing season is right around the corner.
With ski resorts like Cypress Mountain and Whistler Blackcomb opening in November, Vancouverites planning on hitting the slopes with new gear may want to look to this huge ski and snowboard swap.
The Winter Extreme Ski & Board Swap, a weekend consignment event that also has discounts on retail items, is taking place on Oct. 15-16 and will be filled with new and used skis, snowboards, accessories, clothing, nordic gear and more.
"We encourage everyone to clean out their garages, and closets and bring their old gear here to sell," writes the event page.
