If you're hoping to stay dry this week, you just might be in luck. But don't count on getting a suntan.
While the Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes less heavy rainfall this week, it doesn't look particularly bright. Instead, most days are expected to be cloudy with a chance of wet weather.
On Monday (June 13), Environment Canada calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 17°C. Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop down to 11°C, with a 40 per chance of showers and some 20 km/h wind gusting 50 km/h near the water.
The winds are expected to continue through Tuesday, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and another high of 17°C. The evening forecast includes cloudy periods but no wet weather. This might allow locals the opportunity to spot the strawberry supermoon.
The cloudy but dry weather is expected to continue during the day Wednesday. However, the overnight forecast includes periods of rain. Thursday looks cloudy, although it isn't expected to be wet.
Friday appears to be the only day this week with a mix of sun and cloud, as the weekend looks cloudy and grey.
