A lot of people get busy making plans to travel or shop when they come into a large sum of money, but Vancouver resident Bin Wei has something else in mind: Sleep.
Wei can take a lot of cozy naps; she won $1 million from the August 13 Lotto Max draw. She said she has been busy with work and has some rest and paying off her mortgage, on her mind, according to a news release issued by the BC Lottery Corp (BCLC).
The city's newest millionaire said the win feels "very good."
She purchased the winning ticket at Real Canadian Superstore on Grandview Highway and Rupert Street in Vancouver.
Wei had to get over the initial uncertainty after using a store self-checker to see if she'd won.
“I thought something was wrong with the machine!” Wei said.
